Beyond looks, the post also referenced Baekhyun’s involvement in what has been described as an “empty jeonse” fraud case. According to reports, luxury villas leased by Baekhyun and singer-actor Lee Seung Gi have been seized and provisionally frozen due to massive tax delinquency and fraud allegations surrounding One Hundred chairman Cha Ga Won. Both celebrities reportedly signed high-value jeonse (lump-sum lease) contracts for units in Lanuvo Phase 1, with Baekhyun’s deposit said to be around ₩16.0 billion KRW (about $11.2 million USD). To secure the lease, Baekhyun allegedly took out a large loan under his own name.
The growing concern is that if the property is auctioned off due to Cha’s financial problems, Baekhyun could be left responsible for the full loan amount, potentially losing both the home and the deposit.
