With only a day until BLACKPINK‘s DEADLINE comeback, the members have been accused of “hating” their fans with a recent announcement.

    The members of BLACKPINK

While many fans are excited for the comeback, the lead-up has been embroiled in mass controversy.

BLACKPINK’s Entire Album “Accidentally” Leaks — Credits Include Alleged Rapist

Ahead of the comeback, as many idols do, it was announced that there would be official listening parties for the album. Yet, unlike most, the members of BLACKPINK wouldn’t be attending or listening in, which is common, as many tend to interact with fans as they listen to the new releases.

#BLACKPINK will be holding official listening parties for “DEADLINE” on Weverse and Stationhead following this schedule below

Netizens hit back at the announcement, calling the comeback lazy and minimal effort, despite fans waiting for so long.

Never seen a group that hates their fans so much 😭 https://t.co/ewzQdiS4dH

wait but what’s the point of a listening party after the album drops and that too when it’s already leaked!? and to make it worse, none of them are even attending! i mean…how come they hate their own fandom so much!?

Also, while most groups have many events to promote, netizens weren’t sure about BLACKPINK, as rumors stated that Jisoo would be going to Fashion Week.
