A popular Chinese actress has sparked heated debates online after claiming that BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon had made advances toward her.

Yi Yi Zi, the actress in question, made the claim during a livestream on February 2. During the broadcast, she brought up G-Dragon, claiming that he liked her quite a bit in the past.

She mentioned an interaction at a private party where he allegedly even pulled her onto his lap. After that party, Yi added, they met again in Tokyo, where he greeted her warmly. The actress remarked that had she not been “careful” back then, they might have developed a romantic relationship.
Yi Yi Zi’s claims have been met with heavy skepticism from netizens. Many argued that she had no materials or witnesses to corroborate the claims. Furthermore, when fans checked the year of the Tokyo concert she mentioned, they discovered that it didn’t match G-Dragon’s public schedule for that year. Some fans who have met G-Dragon face-to-face also noted that he is always accompanied by four to six bodyguards even in private settings, making a scenario like Yi’s story unlikely.
This isn’t the first time Yi Yi Zi has stirred up the pot by mentioning G-Dragon. Last month, during another live broadcast, she claimed that she “almost” became the idol’s girlfriend. She mentioned drinking with G-Dragon and teased him about his drinking capacity claiming that he got passed out on the sofa.
Notably, Yi has previously been tied to former BIGBANG member T.O.P, whom she has often referred to as her “ex” even in recent livestreams.
