Bang Minsu, also known as former TEEN TOP member C.A.P, has once again become the center of controversy. As Bang Minsu moves forward with efforts to establish an idol labor union, his former agency, Air Global Castle (previously Moden Berry Korea), has released a firm statement clarifying that it is no longer affiliated with him.

On May 22, 2026 (KST), Air Global Castle stated that its exclusive contract with Bang Minsu had already ended last November. The agency emphasized that it has no involvement in Bang Minsu’s recent activities. Air Global Castle also asked the public to refrain from making unverified assumptions or exaggerated interpretations about its connection to Bang Minsu.

As of today, hundreds of repeated emails, so-called ‘email terror,’ continue to be sent to our company by various anti-fans regarding Bang Minsu.

In addition, actions such as sending threatening text messages to the personal contact information of agency officials have reached a level that seriously disrupts our company’s normal business operations, and we have determined that this clearly constitutes obstruction of business and threats.

Accordingly, our company is currently taking legal action against those responsible and plans to respond strongly without any settlement or leniency.

Furthermore, we clearly state that as of November 2025, our exclusive contract with Bang Minsu had already ended, and there is currently no contractual relationship whatsoever between our company and Bang Minsu.”

Bang Minsu debuted as C.A.P of TEEN TOP in 2010 and promoted with the group through hit songs including “No More Perfume On You” and “Crazy.” In 2023, he left TEEN TOP following controversy over smoking, drinking, and swearing during a personal YouTube livestream.

He later drew attention for sharing that he had been earning a living through grass-cutting work. Last year, he signed with Air Global Castle, signaling a return to entertainment activities. However, Bang Minsu later became known as the chairman of the preparatory committee for the creation of an idol labor union. The committee reportedly aims to address issues such as minimum living standards for idols, expanded access to the four major insurances, and legal support from agencies when idols are harmed by malicious comments.

With Bang Minsu’s idol union activities continuing to draw attention, his former agency has made it clear that it does not wish to be tied to the controversy—and is prepared to take legal action against those targeting the company over him.
