Ahn Bo-hyun returns as Flex x Cop 2 with Jung Eun-chae

Promos have officially kicked off on SBS for the crime-action Flex x Cop 2, saluting in our wild child chaebol Ahn Bo-hyun (Spring Fever) to reprise his role in the sequel’s first script reading. And this time, he’s newly joined by Jung Eun-chae (Honour) for Season 2.
After the events of the first season, Jin Yi-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) has taken the steps to properly re-enter the force by enrolling in the police academy and completing the formal training. He then makes a triumphant comeback to the violent crimes unit with his detective badge proudly pinned.
But while his teammates welcome Yi-soo back with open arms, our hero is less pleased to greet their new team leader, Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-chae). And that’s because the fierce and competitive Hye-ra was Yi-soo’s demon-like instructor when he was at the police academy.
In supporting roles, familiar faces from Season 1 include Team One’s detectives, Park Jun-young and Choi Kyung-jin, who are played by Kang Sang-joon (Azure Spring) and Kim Shin-bi (The First Night With the Duke), respectively.
We’ll also be seeing Jung Ga-hee (Phantom Lawyer) return as forensics doctor Yoon Ji-won, in addition to Kim Myung-soo (The Judge Returns) playing Choi Jung-hoon, Yi-soo’s former assistant and now the head of operations at Yi-soo’s Hansu Group.
Although not featured in the main cast, it was reported previously that Yoo Seung-ho (Deal) would be making a special guest appearance. Taking on the part of Yoo Sung-won, the character is a sculptor and fellow 3rd generation chaebol who is acquainted with Yi-soo.
Slated to follow Agent Kim Reactivated in the weekend slot, SBS’s Flex x Cop 2 will be coming to our screens on August 7. Production for the upcoming second season remains in the hands of PD Kim Jae-hong (Revenant) and writer Kim Ba-da (My Name).
