Ahn Eun-jin hopes for A Love Other Than Seo Kang-joon

It’s full steam ahead for angst-ville in the latest poster and teaser for KBS’s A Love Other Than Yours, where Seo Kang-joon (Boyfriend on Demand) and Ahn Eun-jin (Dynamite Kiss) find that their relationship’s lovey-dovey phase has cooled. And in its stead, a sense of drifting feelings has settled in to divide our leads.
We’re thus greeted with a melancholy Namgoong Ho (Seo Kang-joon) in this batch of promos, wondering when it was that his once sparkling girlfriend Lee Mi-do (Ahn Eun-jin) had started to wilt. In the yesteryear, they indeed had days filled with fluttery kisses and swoons that we see in the flashback sequence. And back in the present, a teary-eyed Mi-do puzzles over when they lost that passion.
Our hero isn’t wrong when he argues that they’ve been together for 10 years and it’s not natural for things to remain exactly the same. But Mi-do retorts that his so-called love makes her feel small, suggesting that there are more layers to their conflict and it’s not simply the lack of butterflies that’s been making her upset. And whatever it is that has happened, has made the light go out on our main pair’s romance.
With Lee Joo-ahn (Dream to You) and Jo Ah-ram (To the Moon) also shaking up the turmoil between our two leads, KBS’s upcoming A Love Other Than Yours will be coming to our screens on September 12 next month and will be streaming internationally on Amazon Prime. PD Hwang Seung-ki (The Matchmakers) and PD Lee Ga-ram are at the helm, with writing by Yoo Su-ji (Somehow 18).
