- New character posters have appeared in the shadows of Disney+, strewing seeds of discord between our Gold Land leads: Park Bo-young (Our Unwritten Seoul) and Kim Sung-chul (Boyfriend on Demand), as well as Lee Hyun-wook (Shark – The Storm), Kim Hee-won (Han River Police), and Lee Kwang-soo (The Manipulated). Winner takes the literal gold in this ruthless hunt and the 10-episode shakedown begins on April 29. [Maeil Kyungje]
- On SBS, the first poster puts the spotlight on My Royal Nemesis, a.k.a. our title’s Joseon-era heroine villainess Im Ji-yeon (Nice to Not Meet You). But after her execution, her soul is somehow transported to the 21st century and it’s evil plus evil equals ~love~ when she encounters chaebol Heo Nam-joon (A Hundred Memories). The fantasy rom-com will be unfolding on weekends, following Phantom Lawyer on May 8 next month. [SBS]
- A new campus romance and sports drama called Green Light is reportedly in planning on ENA and offers are out to Choi Hyun-wook (My Dearest Nemesis) and Jung Chae-yeon (Beyond the Bar) to potentially become our soon-to-be college couple. With Choi up to play a baseball player who transfers majors to study law, the 1990s period drama is in the early stages and is aiming to broadcast sometime in 2027. PD Kim Moon-gyo (Trolley, Connection) is at the helm with scripts by Yeo Song-eun. [My Daily, Star News]
