It sparked some criticism towards Lisa, as she got accused of “racism.”
remember when she put rosa parks a historical black figure who fought against racism on her panties https://t.co/nDpmu29X6r pic.twitter.com/JRTNIU1eFP

Someone who acts Black when she wants to be a ‘rapper’ and white when she wants to be a ‘pop girl’ says a lot about them. https://t.co/ygiqlqFsTp pic.twitter.com/QINSVChpsS

She censored “dck” but kept saying the n-word over and over, all while being fluent in English, just to turn around and blame her company the irony is actually funny.pic.twitter.com/fUWA4LR45L https://t.co/fdy4oR8Ikz

Yet, some hit back at the criticism, explaining that Lisa had apologized, and the backlash was hypocritical considering the actions of other idols, especially BTS.
qrts filled with fans whose fav has never apologized for saying the same. Let’s stop acting like hypocrites https://t.co/wAflsTn09J pic.twitter.com/JlcYDyls4f

The quote are full of male fans proudly showing their support for abusers and their own past racist behavior, yet they never had the courage to address those wrongdoings. Morality is in the gutter, and it’s full of cowards. https://t.co/OggTQGPYha

Racism ≠ singing a song. why do people keep taking shit out of context? the way people say “lisa said the n-word” makes it sound like she directed it at someone when she was literally just covering a song https://t.co/VudmThY8PK

The hypocrisy is loud! You are sitting here attacking an artist over something that happened when she was just a 14-year-old child, forced to sing a specific word in an American song under immense pressure….⬇️ #Lisa https://t.co/NHFJmCqSfy
