Stefanie Michova, model and rapper Beenzino’s wife, spoke about her process of overcoming postpartum depression.
On the 18th, Stefanie Michova shared updates on childcare through her YouTube channel.
She said, “My husband went on a business trip abroad for about 10 days to work on his album. Our helper also helped a lot. I want to support my husband’s dream. I’m getting along well with Rubin (their son) so that my husband can work without worry.”
Regarding her mental state after Beenzino returned, Michova said, “To be honest, the moment I saw Sung Bin (Beenzino’s real name), I felt my body relax, as if saying ‘I’m okay now.’”
She added, “I feel really proud of myself. A few months ago, when I uploaded a video about postpartum depression, I never imagined I would be able to get through days like this on my own.”
Stefanie Michova continued, “Back then, every day was really tough. But now, after receiving counseling, I’ve improved a lot. It was still difficult this time, but I managed to endure it.”
She said the support from other mothers was a source of strength.
“Many mothers left comments like, ‘You’ll be okay once this time passes,’ and reading those gave me great strength,” she said.
To mothers struggling with postpartum depression, she said, “I want to tell you that you are not alone.”
Stefanie Michova married Beenzino in 2022 and gave birth to their son in November 2024.
