A beloved Korean actress opened up about concerns over her extremely thin figure.
On July 16th, a short video titled “The Truth About Dieting?” was posted on the account managed by the production team of Ryu Hye Young’s YouTube channel.
While eating, Ryu Hye Young said, “I’ve never dieted or lost weight. I haven’t dieted since I was 25,” revealing the backstory behind her skinny figure.
She explained, “I used to have baby fat on my cheeks and body. That eventually went away, and you could say it’s also because of exercise. I’ve kept working out consistently, but after changing instructors, I focused hard on posture correction exercises,” adding, “My weight really hasn’t changed. It always fluctuates within 1 to 2 kilograms. This is my explanation time.”
Recently, Ryu Hye Young appeared on MBC’s I Live Alone, where she shared her daily life. After slow running exercise, she said, “I became obsessed with needing to get enough protein,” and attracted attention by making herself a raw fish bibimbap. After the broadcast, some expressed concern over her very thin figure, but now Ryu Hye Young clarified that her physique is natural, not the result of dieting.
