It has been announced that LATENCY‘s Hyunjin has left the group.
On May 22, the group’s accounts announced that Hyunjin would be leaving due to health issues. The decision came after the agency and Hyunjin discussed her future and ultimately decided to terminate her contract.

Hyunjin also shared the news herself in a handwritten letter, stating that she thought hard about the decision as she had issues with her health. She apologized for the sudden news, thanking fans for their ongoing support of her while promising to take care of her health.
Hello, this is Hyunjin.
I’ve spent a very long time thinking about what to say first.
I always wanted to show you only my best on stage so it makes my heart very heavy to greet you through a letter like this.
After a long period of consideration, I have decided to end my activities with LATENCY, and to terminate my exclusive contract. The moments I spent performing and standing on stage with all of you will remain as precious memories that I will never forget for the rest of my life.
However, while participating in activities, I became physically and mentally exhausted, and I have come to the conclusion that I now need time to take care of myself. This was not an easy decision, so I am being very careful with my words, and I feel deeply sorry to those who have supported me.
Nevertheless, I sincerely want to thank everyone who has believed in and supported me until now. Because of the fans, I was able to create so many happy and meaningful memories.
I kindly ask you to continue supporting the members of LATENCY in the future as well. I will also do my best to take care of myself and return to a healthier state.

Hyunjin originally debuted as a member of LOONA before the group’s legal battle with Blockberry Creative. After, she debuted as a member of the currently inactive Loossemble in 2023, before joining the girl band LATENCY alongside other idols.
