According to MBC, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office indicted an individual identified as “Oh,” identified as a former college friend of Tzuyang, on charges of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, seeking a fine of ₩7.00 million KRW (about $4,650 USD).
Oh is accused of falsely tipping off another YouTuber, Jujak Gambyeolsa, in November 2020, claiming, “On the day Tzuyang filmed a giant pasta mukbang, I saw traces of her vomiting the pasta afterward.”

During the investigation, Oh denied the charges, insisting the claim was true. However, prosecutors determined that the day Oh met Tzuyang was merely the broadcast date of the giant pasta mukbang—not the actual filming date. Taking into account this discrepancy along with statements from witnesses who were present, prosecutors concluded the allegation was false.
Meanwhile, YouTuber Jujak Gambyeolsa aired this tip on his YouTube channel in July 2024. He was later convicted of blackmailing Tzuyang, alongside fellow YouTuber Gujeyeok, by threatening to expose her private life and extorting tens of millions of won. He received a sentence of one year in prison, suspended for three years.
