A singer and actress revealed that her family background influenced her own decision to divorce.
On September 2nd, the YouTube channel K.Will Official released a video titled “MZ Generation Parenting That Doesn’t Push Kids While Other Moms Go All Out on Private Education.”
When K.Will asked Han Groo (also known as Han Guru) what led her to decide on divorce, she said it was affected by her family background. “My mom divorced when I was young. She lived alone for a while before remarrying, and now she lives with my stepfather. I felt stressed watching my mom endure hardships silently,” she said.
She added, “If I’m happy, then the kids will be happy too. I felt it might be okay to make choices for myself.”
K.Will empathized, sharing, “My mom used to tell me every day, ‘If you marry, I’ll divorce your dad.’ The words ‘I’m living with your dad because of you’ sounded like ‘My life is unhappy because of you.’”
Born in 1992, Han Groo married a businessman nine years her senior in 2015 and gave birth to twins. However, she divorced in 2022 and is raising the two children on her own.
