A Korean reality TV show star revealed that she is currently taking medication for ADHD and shared her feelings.
On the 22nd, a video titled “How much of the day do you live for yourself?” was uploaded on YouTube.
In the video, Lee Na Yeon from Transit Love 2 (also known as EXchange 2) woke up at 7 a.m. She said, “These days, I try to force myself to have some morning time. I wasn’t doing it before, so I started missing out on things one by one. My routine got pretty messed up.”
Instead of reaching for her phone right after waking, Lee Na Yeon spent 10 minutes reading a book. While organizing her desk, she said, “When you get a cleaning mood, you have to do it all at once. I’ve realized the importance of living a disciplined life.”
While eating breakfast, she said, “I’ve come to like drinking decaf coffee in the morning, but even decaf hurts my stomach sometimes. So I eat blueberry yogurt, which is simple and easy.”
Then, She explained that she is taking ADHD medication, stating, “I’ve mentioned a few times recently that it’s been tough. I want to improve and be more organized by nature, but my body hasn’t kept up, so it caused a lot of stress. Since I have many responsibilities, I ended up taking medication.”
She added, “Unfortunately, it still doesn’t suit me well. I envy people who find the right medication immediately. When I first took it, my heart was racing. Now, I get very sleepy. I’m supposed to take two pills, but I only take one because the drowsiness is too strong. It does calm me down.”
She continued, “I’m trying. No matter how scattered I am or even with ADHD, I’m trying to form habits so that my body remembers before my mind even decides. My routine isn’t much—just reading a bit in the morning and spending time doing things I enjoy.”
She added, “Everyone has times when they slack off and then work hard again. I’m trying to overcome it, and by gradually changing the things I like, I can get back on track. Moving forward, I want to return as a motivated, goal-oriented, and amazing me.”
