Jennie and Kevin Parker recently did an interview for Rolling Stone.
During the interview, Kevin and Jennie spoke about their collaboration and mentioned that they met in a bar in Korea with their mutual friend Peter Utz.

Many then used the clip to hit back at claims that the mutual friend was V.
And the mutual friend was peter, not that guy or that girl 😭😭 https://t.co/hnG67W3IK7

Yet, while some thought it went against the allegations, others thought it proved them, with a TikTok gaining attention as the OP claimed that link between Peter and V, but also, when saying “Both of them,” still confirmed it was the BTS idol. In particular, V also attended the mentioned CELINE event.

Just Peter? They can try to hide it all they want, but we already clocked it.Kevin’s smile at the end when he said Celine Event is such a giveaway and J saying “OKAY” (like she was rushing him to stop talking and keep it hush-hush) 😝😉 #taennieisreal #taehyung #jennie #viral #fyp

Some pointed out that while Peter was there and a mutual friend, there was no specification that he had given the number, which many thought was still V as the idol is also friends with Peter.
People missing the point: Peter was just there at the bar. But when Kevin wanted to collab later, his friend said ‘I have her number.’ If it was Peter, he’d know they already met. That friend had no clue they knew each other! pic.twitter.com/KMcdIwNG2M
