The Super Bowl is an American football match and this year the two teams competing were the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. Playing for the Patriots is wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who has been reportedly dating American rapper Cardi B for over a year.

The pair recently had a child together, so many were surprised by Cardi B’s unexpectedly “icy” message to him before the big game.

Following the game, Entertainment Tonight reported that the pair had split according to an inside source, with them unfollowing each other on social media after the game further fueling the beliefs.

A few months ago, Rosé and Cardi B interacted at the Global Citizen Festival, snapping photos together backstage.

A “curse” involving Rosé has previously gone viral connected to a phenomenon where a celebrity would take a photo with the idol, only to go through a break-up soon after. Multiple A-list celebrities including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj have all been “affected” but the supposed curse.
