On the April 29 edition of Show Champion, the five songs nominated were & TEAM‘s “We On Fire”, AKMU‘s “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart”, EVNNE‘s “Backtalk”, NCT WISH‘s “Ode to Love”, and Xdinary Heroes‘ “Voyager.”
In the end, &TEAM took home the win, their fourth overall, following their first Korean mini-album, Back to Life, which earned three wins in 2025. However, “We On Fire”‘s first win solidified the group’s place in Korean music show history.
We On Fire is a Japanese release featuring a Korean version of the title track, making the group the first to win on a Korean music show with a Japanese album.
EJ, the group’s leader, delivered the speech when the group accepted the award, expressing thanks to their supporters.

The group also performed the track during the encore, interacting with fans throughout as they celebrated. Before leaving the stage, the group took another moment to express their gratitude, with sub-leader Fuma bowing to the audience.
