A boy group member clarified rumors of a premarital pregnancy with his fiancée, an actress, stating they have remained virgins before marriage.
On October 14th, MBC‘s Radio Star released a clip titled “Virgin Kang Kyun Sung, Unsealing with Marriage(?)”.
When Noel‘s Kang Kyun Sung announced his marriage to actress Yoo Ha Jin, the studio was filled with congratulations. They met in February this year and are getting married after dating for eight months. Kang Kyun Sung expressed his affection, saying, “(Yoo Ha Jin) is someone I can grow with and who makes me let go of myself.”
He then addressed the misunderstanding about a premarital pregnancy due to setting the wedding date early, saying, “We haven’t made love with each other. We have no experience. We think alike, so it turned out this way,” mentioning their premarital virginity, which surprised the studio.
He also said, “(Previously) I didn’t make the virginity vow by my own will. At the time, I’m sorry for many days I couldn’t keep it. I feel very embarrassed,” suddenly lowering his head, which caused laughter.
Kang Kyun Sung said, “But when I met the person I’m going to marry, I felt I should keep it (premarital virginity) with her. It’s a true honeymoon. Nowadays, couples enjoy things they’ll have after marriage in advance, so I’ve heard expectations lessen after marriage. But for us, the anticipation is high.” He added with a laugh, “(Yoo Ha Jin) worried if maybe I had some kind of issue. I need to prove it quickly…”
Kang Kyun Sung will hold his wedding with Yoo Ha Jin, who is 14 years younger, on October 30 at a location in Seoul.
