A boy group member has announced his decision to quit smoking and drinking, attracting support from netizens.
On July 27th, a post was uploaded on his social media saying, “4 weeks into quitting smoking, the blurred vision is gone. It was definitely because of the cigarettes,” by Shinhwa‘s Kim Dongwan.
In further communication with netizens, when asked, “Did you really smoke?” he replied, “I did all sorts of things.” To the question, “Did you experience withdrawal symptoms?” he answered, “I ate a lot.”
On the same day, Kim Dong Wan added, “Yesterday, I thought, ‘Just one drink,’ but ended up finishing a 750ml bottle of whiskey. Recently, I’ve been making excuses to drink, often postponing or canceling appointments. Netizens responded with comments like, “We support you,” “Just hang in there for a month or two,” “As you get older, it’s time to take care of your health,” and “At least try to cut back.”
