Many Korean outlets have branded his comments as his first public mention of marriage since dating rumors with aespa’s Winter took over the internet last December.

After wrapping his concert in Spain on June 28, Jungkook hopped on Weverse Live to catch up with fans. The chat quickly flooded with ARMYs typing “Marry me,” prompting Jungkook to laugh and draw the line.

The comments are drawing extra attention among fans and Korean media, given their timing.

Back in December 2025, Jungkook was swept up in dating speculation after fans claimed he and Winter had matching dog-shaped tattoos on the inside of their arms. The rumors snowballed as people pointed to a couple of items and sightings at the same concert. Neither BigHit Music nor SM Entertainment ever firmly addressed the claims.
