On April 1, BTS dropped a music video teaser that some fans are calling the spiritual sequel to BTS’s “Spinebreaker”. In it, RM sports a sleek black bowl-cut wig, aviator sunglasses, a crisp white shirt, a houndstooth tie, and a suit while standing in an elevator.
His look, which channels classic Korean gangster films like Old Boy, has become a hot topic, with some netizens loving it, and others criticizing it.

Some fans noticed a striking resemblance between RM and Park Seo Joon, and they aren’t the only ones. Park posted a screenshot of RM on his Instagram story, captioned, “My mom even asked if it was me. Love you BTS.”
Fans were quick to point out that they had experienced the exact same confusion. Some admitted scrolling past the BTS clip at first, convinced it was Park making a cameo. Given that the teaser dropped on April Fool’s Day, it’s not shocking that ARMYs might have thought they were being pranked.
