Speculation about a romantic relationship between BTS‘s V and IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung has resurfaced online. This time, netizens have focused on the age gap between the two stars.

The latest wave began when V posted a photo of waffles on May 1.

About ten hours later, Wonyoung uploaded a video of herself eating a chocolate waffle, captioning it “Today’s dinner recommendation, chocolate waffle and delicious coffee.”
It’s not the first time the two have been linked. Previous “evidence” includes visiting the same Seoul restaurant on consecutive days, posting photos of the same noodle dish, overlapping schedules in LA during KCON, and Wonyoung attending BTS’s ARIGANG world tour concert in Goyang alone, without any fellow IVE members.

Neither agency has commented, and nothing has been confirmed. A lot of this comes down to circumstantial overlap that’s hard to ignore but equally hard to prove.
