Their marriages seemed to mean nothing.

While the image pushed onto K-Pop idols is sometimes unfair, certain behavior is expected of them that is expected of normal people as well. Unfortunately, not all idols live up to these expectations, including those who allegedly break relationship vows after marriage, or are accused of bad behavior by their partners.

Here are several male idols who did exactly that.

    1. Former U-KISS Dongho

Former U-KISS member Dongho was active in the group for five years before leaving and getting married in 2015.

Recently, his ex-wife made multiple accusations against him, including cheating multiple times during their relationship, paying for sex, and neglecting their son. She claimed that he had not sufficiently paid child support and showed no interest in his child.

He has since refuted these claims.

    2.  Former Topp Dogg’s P-Goon

Former leader of Topp Dogg, P-Goon, and ex-Rania‘s Yumin shocked many with their wedding announcement. The pair tied the knot officially in August 2018, with Yumin giving birth to their son that December.

P-Goon revealed their child before the two could come to a previously discussed plan, and Yumin only found out about it through an acquaintance. She also shared that the pair’s marital conflict only grew larger and larger, and she was raising the child on her own, leading to their divorce.

    3. U-KISS’s Eli

U-KISS’s Eli announced that he had been married for over a year to a model named Ji Yeon Soo, who is eleven years older than him. The two dated for five years and then married on paper in 2014, later having an actual ceremony in 2017 after the 2016 birth on their son.

Ji Yeon Soo later claimed that Eli and his mother had ruined her credit with expensive purchases and treated her as a “maid.” Following their divorce, the pair appeared on We Got Divorced 2, where Eli first claimed he wanted to reconcile and moved back to Korea. He went back on this shortly after, saying that he didn’t love her as a woman, just as the mother of his child.

    4. FT Island’s Choi Minhwan

F.T. Island‘s Choi Minhwan‘s relationship with former Laboum member Yulhee was accidentally revealed in 2017, leading to their marriage the following year, after the birth of their son. The pair later had twins.

In 2023, their divorce was announced, but in October 2024, Yulhee exposed the reasons for the divorce, which included cheating, visiting brothels, and embarrassing her in front of his family by touching her breasts. He denied the claims despite Yulhee providing audio proof.
