A fan recently shared her experience with the star during Paris Fashion Week, where, despite being his fan, he specifically signed items for everyone but her. This resulted in allegations of racism towards the idol over his actions.

There has not been a response from the idol, but as netizens have discussed his actions, more “proof” surfacing including a past interaction with another celebrity.
In June 2023, Choi Woo Sik attended AMI‘s menswear fashion show in Paris. During the show, he was seated next to singer and actress Halle Bailey, known for her performance as Ariel in the live action The Little Mermaid.
In resurfaced clips, netizens have accused the actor of behaving in a certain way next to Bailey.

Some have seen this as proof of him being racist, criticizing the actor further.
