DAY6 member Dowoon spoke directly to fans about his feelings following dating and marriage rumors.
Recently, during DAY6’s 10th anniversary tour encore concert THE DECADE held at KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park, Dowoon opened up to fans about his emotions.
Dowoon said, “I promised to only show good sides as a celebrity, but I feel sorry for continuously failing to keep that promise.”
He continued, “However, my feelings have never changed in ten years. I truly love you all very much. My reason for existing is to be of help and support to each and every one of you in some way.”
Regarding how he would continue his activities with DAY6 after the rumors of dating and marriage, he stated, “I’ll do this for life. Please keep watching over me.”
Dowoon added, “I will keep my promises. I’ll do my best not to cause any trouble around me, so please continue to watch over me. I love you.”
In May, dating and marriage rumors surfaced simultaneously involving Dowoon and YouTuber Yoo Ji Yoo. Netizens suspected that items like cologne and key rings revealed by Dowoon in recent YouTube videos were couple items. There were also claims that the dog appearing in photos posted on Dowoon’s acquaintance’s social media account was the same as Yoo Ji Yoo’s dog.

In particular, marriage rumors spread after reports that the two had consulted with a wedding planner. However, Dowoon’s agency, JYP Entertainment, refrained from commenting, stating, “We have no particular statement.”
Subsequently, suspicions arose that Yoo Ji Yoo visited a limited collaboration event held to celebrate DAY6’s 10th anniversary.
