On February 23, Dispatch released a report on Min Hee Jin and her plan for NewJeans’ demise.
In March 2025, NewJeans released “Pitstop” under the name NJZ. Dispatch confirmed that the group’s performance at ComplexCon went as planned according to Min Hee Jin’s plan.
On March 7, 2025, at the 50th Civil Affairs Division of the Seoul Central District Court, the court asked, “How are you preparing for the Hong Kong concert?”
NewJeans ‘ side concealed Min Hee Jin’s identity and deceived the court, claiming, “The organizer is providing support. We haven’t secured a production company or agency for the concert yet. We’ll do so once the injunction is issued and the issue is resolved. For now, the organizers are providing the necessary personnel.”
Dispatch obtained a contract signed between NewJeans and ComplexCon Hong Kong.
NewJeans’ performance fees were $350,000 USD, and consulting fees were $500,000 USD.
Min Hee Jin, the group members’ parents, and the lawyers discussed the contract in a group chatroom. They signed it on December 18, 2024. However, Min Hee Jin did not use her name to avoid tampering issues.
This stage was used a a promotional base for their independent activities. They went ahead with the performance despite the court’s ruling and released their new song, “Pitstop.” What did Min Hee Jin want to show at the Hong Kong concert?
Bonnie Chan Woo. She is the leading figure in the Chinese pop culture industry. As the CEO of Complex China, she hosts concerts in Hong Kong. As it turns out, Bonnie also sent a sales proposal to HYBE in October of last year.
Bonnie reportedly expressed interest, stating, “I’ll buy 80% of ADOR’s shares for ₩400 billion KRW (about $277 million USD).” However, she added a condition, “But you must hand over 100% of all rights to artist contracts and operations.”
She added, “We’ve discussed this with the representatives of NewJeans. They said they have no intention of returning, even if they lose the breach-of-contract lawsuit. If we acquire their shares, they will immediately resume their activities, including music production and performances.”
Who are the representatives of NewJeans that Bonnie speaks of? What’s clear is that Min Hee Jin is consitently involved in the decision-making process. She was the invisible hand that prolonged the NewJeans situation.
On March 21, 2025, NewJeans’ independent activities were halted. The court granted ADOR’s injunction, and the group was now in a situation where they could no longer leave ADOR to pursue independent activities.
However, on March 23, 2025, NewJeans announced they would attend ComplexCon under the name NJZ.
Meanwhile, Dispatch reported that the members met with a noble Japanese grandfather.
