Singer and composer LeeZu (also known as Lee Jun Young) has passed away. He was 42 years old.

On May 4, 2026 (KST), fellow composer XeoN announced the news on his account, writing, “My friend, and the composer of DJMAX that we all loved, LeeZu, has set off on a long journey alone.”

Please remember the many songs he left behind, and I sincerely ask that you honor him so that he does not feel lonely on his final path. May he rest in peace.

    — XeoN

LeeZu, who was active as a singer, composer, and YouTuber, became widely known for his music work across various games, including DJMAX.

The cause of death has not been disclosed. However, attention has been drawn to a video titled “Goodbye,” along with a song of the same name and a short comment reading “Thank you, everyone, and I’m sorry,” which was uploaded to his YouTube channel on April 25.

Following the sudden news, netizens have been leaving messages of condolence such as “May he rest in peace” and “We will not forget what you left behind,” continuing a wave of mourning.
