[Drama Chat] I haven’t forgiven you since… (2026 version)

In one of our recent drama chats, we talked about the actors and characters we fell hard for this year. For this week, I’m reviving a chat that approaches the opposite side.
Sometimes a drama or role can make you feel something that wasn’t there before, and for each time you fall into standom, there are inevitably dramas that turn you to the dark side. I don’t mean becoming a hater per se, it can be more nebulous, like a sense of aggrievement. When you give up weeks of your one wild and precious life to watch a drama, only for it to be a middling mess, hard feelings can linger long after the drama has ended.
This year so far, my two biggest drama disappointments are No Tail to Tell and Our Universe. It used to be that seeing Kim Hye-yoon, Lomon, Bae In-hyuk, or Noh Jung-eui attached to a show meant it was automatically added to my watch list, but no longer. I’m not swearing them off entirely, but I’ll need 2027 to send them/us dramas that can help erase these disappointments and bring back the magic.
