Epik High Opens Up On Being Victims Of Workplace Bullying

Recently, a video titled “Burnout Survival Guide (Epik High Gives Life Advice)” was posted on the Epik High YouTube channel. In the video, Epik High received concerns from subscribers in advance and continued with serious counseling.

One subscriber shared, “I’m a 27-year-old newcomer to the workforce. I resigned from my first company due to workplace bullying,” and added, “Because of my timid personality, I keep thinking it might be my fault, wondering if the problem lies with me.” They continued, “I’ve since moved to another job, but I keep thinking about that time and find it hard to approach people,” and confessed, “I keep blaming myself and don’t know how to break free from these thoughts.”

Listening to this, Tablo expressed sympathy, saying, “You were bullied, so why blame your personality?” Tukutz also comforted them with, “Don’t blame yourself.” Mithra offered serious advice, saying, “It might be better to change the environment. We also went through times when there were lots of such people,” and added, “Eventually, people who really fit well with us started working together. Changing the environment might greatly ease your mind and it should be okay.”

Tukutz said, “You need to strengthen your mentality. If you live with the mindset that you’ll ignore them no matter what, no one will dare bother you,” adding, “Even if they do, you’ll be able to let it go.” He then joked, “Look at our team. The two of you gang up and keep teasing me like this, right?” Mithra responded playfully, “When have we ever done that?” causing laughter.

Tablo opened up, saying, “When we first started in the music industry,” and recalled, “Some producers really bullied me openly. They asked me, ‘Why do you make such garbage music?’” The production crew was surprised, and Tablo swore, “I swear to God, it’s true. They’d say to Tukutz, ‘Hey DJ! Get out here and set this up!’ There were so many people tormenting us for no reason.” He continued, “Our mentality is a bit strong. That’s how we endured it, but this kind of thing happens everywhere.“
