The chances of a BTS member noticing you online are slim, but never zero, and one talented artist has attracted Jungkook‘s attention while trying to do the exact opposite.
BTS’s Jungkook
With promotions for their new ARIRANG in full swing, BTS’s members have become more active in person and online. RM, for example, recently shook up the Thai BL fandom by liking actors’ posts that featured BTS’s new songs. Both the actors and fans couldn’t be happier!

However, not all fans try to summon BTS. Artist @soaryve often posts “JiKook” fan art that ships Jungkook with Jimin, including this commissioned piece. The post features BTS’s new song “One More Night”.
In the comment section, some netizens tagged Jungkook, hoping to bring it to his attention, and the artist asked them not to.
It’s unclear whether the tags, BTS’s song, or something else alerted Jungkook to the illustration, but in the end, he found it and let the entire world know by reposting it on his Instagram account, @mnijungkook .
This is actually so funny 😭 the fanartist repeatedly asked people not to tag any members, and didn’t tag them themselves either—just used hashtags and a song. AND THEN JUNGKOOK STILL SHOWED UP LMAOO😭😭😭😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/yPe0zt8WIq

@soaryve was just as surprised as other fans to see Jungkook’s repost…
…and in an Instagram story, they explained why they didn’t want the members tagged.
Jungkook is an artist in his own right. Check out some of his art pieces here:
