In 2024, when former RIIZE‘s Seunghan (XngHan) was temporarily added to the group again, fans planned protests against it happening.

One of these methods that had the greatest impact was sending flower wreaths to SM Entertainment. These flower wreaths are usually used for funerals and send a disturbing message to relay the intensity of fans’ protests.

This seemed to popularize the idea, leading to more idols receiving wreaths.

Now, a boy group member who has only been active for one month appears to be the next target.

Following the survival show Boys II Planet, the winning trainees were brought together to form ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1).

This line-up includes Kim Geonwoo, who was accused of bullying trainees during the show.

More recently, the idol was accused of verbally abusing an MBC staff member, who allegedly provided proof to back her allegations. Since then, evidence has been debated, with many demanding a response from WakeOne.

Messages on the page directly name Geonwoo, asking for his removal from the group if the allegations are true.

    • “If the power-abuse controversy involving Kim Geon-woo is true, he should leave immediately.”
    • “If it’s false, release a statement. If it’s true, take measures for his withdrawal.”
    • “Any further silence is nothing but implicit agreement.”

Many fans in support of Geonwoo have shared their feelings over the planned protest and frustration with the agency for not addressing the terms.
