- SBS’s God and Law Firm have opened office for promos with the first poster and stills, showcasing our ghost-possessed attorney Yoo Yeon-seok (When the Phone Rings). Leaving no case unresolved – even after death – our hero will be working with fellow lawyer Esom (LTNS) when the supernatural-comedy premieres on March 13. Airing on weekends following No Tail to Tell, production is being led by PD Shin Joong-hoon (Seoul Busters, One Dollar Lawyer) as well as writers, Kim Ga-young and Kang Chul-kyu (Alice). - Lee Sung-kyung (The Nice Guy) is said to be reviewing an offer for a new slice-of-life and crime series called Swan Laundry (roughly translated). The novel-adaptation is currently in the early stages and if Lee accepts, she’ll be playing our story’s central heroine who runs a dry cleaners and is the neighborhood’s amateur sleuth. In the meantime, we’ll be seeing Lee Sung-kyung in MBC’s In Your Radiant Season later this month. [Newsen, SpoTV News]
- The opposites-attract romance Sympathy Cells (roughly translated) is also in the works, casting L (a.k.a. Kim Myung-soo) (Dare to Love Me) to become the compassionate male lead and psychologist. He of course will then be clashing and making sparks with the more callous female lead, who has not yet been announced. Aiming to broadcast later this year, PD Kim Chil-bong is directing – who worked previously with L on Numbers – alongside writing by Jung Yeon and Kim Sung-rae. [Newsen]

- Kim Mu-yeol (Queen Woo) has reportedly been cast in Netflix’s upcoming Granny, potentially acting opposite our titular main character played by Lee Jung-eun (Heavenly Ever After). Adapted from a popular webtoon by the same title, production for the revenge, action-thriller has PD Han Dong-wook (The Worst of Evil) at the the helm. [Osen]
- Preparations continue for The Koreans (working title) as well, which now has Lee Hee-joon (Karma) in talks for this remake of the US series The Americans. If all the stars align, he’ll be joined by Lee Byung-heon (Squid Game 3) and Han Ji-min (Heavenly Ever After) in the period, spy adventure lineup. Production also has PD Ahn Gil-ho (Genie Make a Wish, The Glory) attached to direct. [My Daily, Newsen]
- On tvN, the shadowy promos continue with the latest posters for Siren’s Kiss, pitting murder suspect Park Min-young (Confidence Queen) against insurance fraud investigator Wie Ha-joon (Squid Game 3) in a risky pursuit that could lead to truth, love, and/or death. The Japanese drama remake is slated to premiere on March 2 and will be unfolding its mystery-suspense tale in the Monday-Tuesday slot. [MBC, Sports Donga]
