The cast of Single’s Inferno 5 recently sat down with ELLE KOREA to offer dating advice, and more.
The female “Single’s Inferno 5” cast
The first submission they pulled from a box was about opposite-sex friendships.
A partner who has too many friends of the opposite sex. They casually post photos on social media with people who are clearly into them, and they say, ‘Oh, they’re just a friend.’ I end up letting it go every time because I wonder if I’m the weird one for saying more.
— Submission read aloud by Park Hee Sun
The female cast members responded strongly to this, taking the OP’s side.

The staff then asked if opposite-sex friendships exist, asking the cast to make a heart with their hands for “no” and a circle for “yes.” For the men, the responses were 50/50. Jo I Geon, Kim Jae Jin, Youn Hyeon Jae, and Lim Su Bin answered “no,” while Song Seung Il, Woo Seung Min, Shin Hyeon Woo, and Lee Sung Hoon (also known as Samuel Lee) answered “yes.”
The male “Single’s Inferno 5” cast
Only one female cast member, Park Hee Sun, felt that women and men can’t be friends. Kim Min Gee, Choi Mina Sue, Lee Ha Eun, Kim Go Eun, Ham Ye Jin, and Lee Joo Young all answered “yes.”
Go Eun asked Hee Sun if she has any male friends, and she said, “Yes, I have zero male friends. I personally believe that friendships between opposite sexes don’t exist.”
