On the January 31 broadcast, Hwang Jae Gyun’s fellow 1987-born peers—and leaders of Korea’s golden generation of baseball—Ryu Hyun Jin, Yang Eui Ji, and Kim Hyun Soo gather in one place to throw a retirement party for him.
There, Hwang Jae Gyun’s friends joke mischievously about his decision to retire, saying things like, “It’s definitely easier to make decisions like this when you’re on your own,” trading unfiltered banter that only true close friends can pull off, promising plenty of laughs for viewers at home.

In addition, viewers will see Hwang Jae Gyun’s own version of healing time. Known as a devoted uncle doting on his nieces and nephews, the baseball star is shown happily playing with the children of his manager of 22 years, Park Shin Woong. The fierce competitive look he once had on the field is nowhere to be found, replaced by the gentle, affectionate gaze of a caring uncle who gets down to the kids’ level.
At one point, Hwang Jae Gyun even candidly expresses his hope for a “Hwang Jae Gyun Jr.,” prompting speculation that he is looking for a new romance as a future doting dad.
