On June 26, a girl group star announced her marriage to a professional wrestler.

Kuwabara Mizuki is a former member of the J-Pop girl group SKE48. After leaving SKE48 in 2013, she transitioned into theater acting and variety entertainment. In recent years, she has become a prominent staff member at the animal rescue shelter Sakagami-ke, where she actively leads animal welfare efforts, including special educational classes for students in her hometown of Kochi.
She has married Sanada Seiya, known by his ring name SANADA. He is a member of House of Torture (HoT), a villainous professional wrestling stable currently performing for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The two made their union public through an appearance on Fuji TV‘s Sakagami Animal Kingdom, a program centered around animal welfare, as well as on social media.

The couple’s connection grew through their shared commitment to animal rescue.
