Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young opened up about the reason she decided to marry actor Byun Yo Han in the latest episode of SBS’s Uh, But Like, Seriously?, alongside actress Kim Ye Won, who is co-starring in the musical Yumi’s Cells.
During the episode, show host Tak Jae Hoon brought up the girl group and said he had always wondered which member would be the first to get married. Tiffany then replied, “I became the first.” Tiffany shared that marriage had not originally been part of her plans.
I’m usually a huge planner, and I’m also very ambitious when it comes to work. So I had no plans to get married at all, but my thoughts changed after meeting my husband through a project.

She then revealed what made her feel certain about Byun Yo Han. “My life had found its own rhythm, but I started wanting to be with this person, too,” Tiffany said.
My husband is firm and steady, so I feel a sense of stability when he leads me. His actions are clear, he has a strong sense of responsibility, and he’s someone I can rely on. That’s why I became certain and thought, ‘He’s the one. This is my person.’

Tiffany also shared a sweet glimpse into their newlywed life. She revealed that when she cannot hear Byun Yo Han’s voice at home, she sometimes calls him rather than shout for him. “There are times when I can’t hear my husband’s voice at home,” Tiffany said, adding, “I could call out loudly, but for some reason, I don’t want to, so I call him. When I call, he comes to where I am.”
Tiffany and Byun Yo Han previously confirmed in December 2025 that they were dating with marriage in mind. The couple later registered their marriage in February, making them legally married.
Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany And Actor Byun Yo Han Are Officially Married
As for their wedding ceremony, no official date has been set yet. Byun Yo Han’s agency Team Hope previously stated that no specific time or location had been confirmed and that the couple was carefully considering holding a simple ceremony in the form of a worship service with their families.
