However, fans received quite a whiplash when a photo of Manon and David kissing surfaced on social media. The picture was originally posted by a friend of Manon. However, they took it down after a few hours.
The photo has been considered an official confirmation of Manon’s relationship with most fans expressing heartfelt support. However, it also brought unexpected criticism as some accused the singer of “queerbaiting.” Fans quickly debunked these claims, pointing out that Manon never spoke publicly about her sexuality.
