Lexie, a former member of HYBE x Geffen’s upcoming global girl group Saint Satine, has shocked fans after leaving the project before the group’s official debut.
On July 13, HYBE x Geffen (HxG) announced through Weverse and social media that Lexie would be departing Saint Satine. The labels also confirmed that she would not continue working with HxG as an independent artist.
In the statement, HxG explained that the decision was made after discussions with Lexie and that both sides agreed it was the right time to move forward separately.

Lexie later addressed fans through her Instagram Story, expressing gratitude for the opportunities she received during her time with HxG.
She explained that while the decision was difficult, she believed it was the right choice for both sides.
While some fans supported Lexie’s decision and wished her well, others expressed disappointment over her departure, especially as Saint Satine’s debut had been highly anticipated.
Several fans criticized the timing of her exit, arguing that she left after many supporters had spent more than a year waiting for the group to debut. Some also expressed sympathy for the remaining members, including Emily and Samara, who had been working toward the group’s debut alongside Lexie.
I’m really upset with Lexie, she did this when the debut was so close. She was too selfish, especially with Emily and Samara who had been dreaming about it together from the start..

Reactions online have included harsh accusations that Lexie was being “selfish” for leaving so close to the group’s launch.
I honestly love Lexie, but this is incredibly selfish of her; she basically played in the faces of all of us who had been anxiously waiting for her debut in a GROUP for over a YEAR.

lexie is a bully tho and seems to have underlying issues. shes felt emily was ugly, probs hated samara on the behind the scenes (like most do) and didnt like sakura.. like girl what is it then? theyve given her far too many chances. talbout the group should be as she pleases
