“Injection Auntie” Speaks Up Amid Park Na Rae’s Controversy

“Injection Auntie” A, who has been accused of practicing medicine illegally without a doctor’s license, suddenly came forward to proclaim her innocence.

On the 23rd, A posted on her social media account, “DiXXXXch ran an exclusive article fronting the provocative keyword ‘Injection Auntie,’ turning the public against me and making me a subject of gossip based only on an unverified ‘manager’s tip.’”

She stated, “The truth of the matter will only be revealed through diligent testimony from the investigators and myself and objective investigation results. However, some YouTubers, social media channels, and the show Curious Stories Y are focusing on using the keyword ‘Injection Auntie’ to attract views and attention, leading to the spread of distorted and inaccurate personal and gossip content. The only place I can tell the truth is with the investigative agencies,” expressing her frustration.

Controversy over A’s illegal medical practices arose last December through media reports. Former managers who previously alleged Park Na Rae’s abuse now revealed that “Injection Auntie” A, who lacks a medical license, administered injections or prescribed psychotropic drugs in places other than medical institutions.

The report included photos of Park Na Rae receiving medical treatment from A in a regular home and conversations where A supposedly prescribed medication on behalf of Park Na Rae’s manager, fueling the controversy. Park Na Rae’s side explained that she only received vitamin injections from a licensed doctor and used legitimate house call services.

However, claims that A is not a licensed doctor escalated. A posted directly, “About 12 to 13 years ago, I studied hard traveling back and forth to Inner Mongolia. I served as the youngest professor at Inner Mongolia Pogang Medical University Hospital for both foreign and domestic patients. With the support of the hospital director and chief of plastic surgery and active help from the Inner Mongolia party secretary, I was able to establish the Korea Plastic Surgery Center. As director, I did not shy away from broadcast interviews and lectures to promote Korea and lived earnestly. Manager, do you truly know my life? What do you know about me to make me a subject of gossip?”

Despite A’s rebuttal, controversy persisted. Medical associations declared the Pogang University mentioned by A to be a nonexistent “ghost medical school” and stated she does not have a medical license in Korea. A has been reported to authorities for illegal medical practice by the Medical Association and others, and the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul has restricted her from leaving the country and conducted a search.

SBS’s Curious Stories Y continued investigating A’s background, and the program Unanswered Questions scheduled for broadcast on the 24th is also set to cover the controversy. Meanwhile, after deleting all her social media posts and remaining silent for about a month, A posted a new message expressing her position.

Notably, A shared screenshots of information about the “Protection of Communications Secrets Act” and the “Information and Communications Network Act” verified through ChatGPT. This seems to indicate her intent to pursue legal action against media outlets that damaged her reputation by reporting her photos and conversations and raising “Injection Auntie” suspicions.
