The husband of the so-called “Injection Auntie,” who is suspected of illegal medical practices, is convinced that SHINee‘s Key and Park Na Rae were lying.
On the 24th, SBS‘s Unanswered Questions aired an episode uncovering the truth behind the scandal involving “Injection Auntie” Lee, who allegedly performed illegal medical procedures on famous celebrities including Park Na Rae.
Lee’s husband told the production team of Unanswered Questions, “It’s a lie that Kibum (SHINee’s Key) and Park Na Rae thought she was a doctor. My family has been involved in politics since I was young, and we’re close with entertainment company CEOs, so I know the truth.”
He continued, “My wife has CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) that prevents her from administering injections. She’s left-handed but her left hand is rigid. She is not the “Injection Auntie”—the real “Injection Auntie” is someone else.” He added, “She was the head of the Korean Plastic Surgery Center at the largest hospital in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China. She studied at their medical school for about 3-4 years and was appointed a special professor while serving as the center head.”
He also stated, “She has never practiced medicine in Korea. The medicine Lee prescribed was given to Park Na Rae to try, not as treatment. Since my wife suffers from panic disorder and needs good sleep, she gave her a sleep aid.”
He claimed, “The intravenous drip was administered to Park Na Rae only once. Only Park Na Rae and her manager came to our house just once before an awards ceremony, asking to lose a little weight. It was a one-time favor. She did not receive any money or financial gain, so the sense of betrayal is even greater.”
