It’s rise or else fall in Joo Ji-hoon’s climb to Climax

Many have clambered up the mountain to power in ENA’s Climax. But as Joo Ji-hoon (Heroes on Call – The Trauma Code) discovers in the latest posters and stills, it’s a treacherous journey with only room for so many once the coveted pinnacle is reached.
As a self-made man, Bang Tae-sub (Joo Ji-hoon) rose through the ranks as a prosecutor, though his dirt-spoon background projects a glass ceiling in his career. He thus ties the knot with top star Ha Ji-won (Curtain Call) in a mutually-beneficial marriage, to help Tae-sub tap into society’s higher circles and secure the right connections.
However, Chu Sang-ah (Ha Ji-won) is a dangerous ally that can easily turn foe, because her own ambitions take priority over her husband. Sang-ah’s diminishing presence in the acting industry has also started to fuel her fiery ire. And if she has to go down, the prideful Sang-ah is going to take everyone with her and ensure that they feel the burn.
Rounding out the ferocious five-some in the mystery-melo’s main cast, Tae-sub’s secret informant Nana (Mask Girl) is a fighter as well. And she’s not ashamed of using dirty tactics, considering that we already live in a dirty world.
Our story’s WR Group conglomerate is where we meet the last (but not least) two players. The shrewd eldest son Oh Jung-se (Tempest) is out to do whatever it takes to reclaim his so-called rightful throne. But his also steely stepmother Cha Joo-young (The Queen Who Crowns) is angling to become usurper as WR’s new head.
Production for ENA’s upcoming Climax has filmmaker Lee Ji-won (Miss Baek, Portrait of a Family) at the helm, with scripts co-penned by Shin Ye-seul. Coming to our screens on March 16 next week, the 10-episode series follows Honour in the Monday-Tuesday slot.
