On the episode of KBS 2TV’s Fun-Staurant aired on the 6th, Sunye invited Wonder Girls’ eldest member Yubin and After School leader Kahi to her home and served a meal she had prepared herself.
On the day, Sunye welcomed the two with a variety of carefully prepared dishes. Kahi and Yubin repeatedly expressed amazement at the food laid out on the table.
When Kahi said, “Look at how she handles the knife. She’s something else,” Yubin revealed, “Sunye loved cooking ever since she was young.” She recalled, “When we lived in the dorms during our trainee days, she often made things like tteokbokki.”
When Kahi asked, “You were really young back then. How old were you?” Yubin answered, “We were in high school.” Kahi couldn’t hide her surprise, saying, “You were in high school and you made all that in the dorm?”
The three naturally transitioned to talking about their past activities. When Kahi asked, “What did you do for fun during your promotions? Did you ever go to clubs?” Yubin shared an unexpected story.
Yubin said, “When Yeeun and Sunye turned twenty, PD J.Y. Park (also known as Park Jin Young) said, ‘To celebrate becoming adults, I’ll take you on a club tour.’ I was already an adult, but he took the three of us.”
Sunye added, “He said we should learn about alcohol from adults and even taught us how to drink.” She further explained, “I think it was his good intention to help us experience alcohol and club culture healthily, without learning the bad sides.”
