On June 27, 2026 (KST), it was reported that singer Jang Kiha, 44, and actress Yoon Ga I, 26, are dating. The news was later confirmed by both sides, with Jang Ki Ha’s agency stating that the two have been in a relationship for about 2 years.
Jang Kiha Confirms Relationship With Actress 18 Years Younger
According to reports, the two first met in 2023 through Coupang Play’s SNL Korea, where Jang Kiha appeared as a host and Yoon Ga I was active as a cast member. They reportedly grew closer through their shared interests in music and film.
While some fans congratulated the couple, much of the online reaction quickly focused on their 18-year age gap. On the Korean community site theqoo, a post about the relationship drew hundreds of comments, with many netizens expressing discomfort over the age difference.
Several commenters compared Jang Kiha to Leonardo DiCaprio, who has long been criticized internationally for the “obvious pattern” in his dating history. Some were quick to bring up his previous public relationship with IU, who was 11 years younger than him, pointing out that the singer has now twice been publicly linked to women significantly younger than him.
- “Oh my god, Korean DiCaprio is here 🤮”
- “Ugh…”
- “With someone young enough to be his kid….”
- “His preference in women is [questionable]…”
- “Ugh……… If she’s 26 now, then it means she started seeing him from when she was even younger……. Ick.”
- “So the dude only dates young girls?”
- “Ugh…”
- “Is he into this sh*t…? It makes me think of a Lolita complex…”
- “🤮🤮”
- “Guys. Yoon Ga I isn’t someone who just barely turned 20, she’s 26. It’s not like she’s being blackmailed into dating him, they like each other and are dating, so why are third parties saying such nasty things? Be happy for them.”
- “She’s not fresh into her 20s either. She’s 25. Maybe she likes him, too.”
- “Just fascinating. Ew.”
- “Well, if they started dating two years ago, then they met when she was in her early 20s. So… That’s seriously weird.”
Jang Kiha debuted in 2003 as a member of the band Nunco Band before later forming Kiha & The Faces in 2008. After the band disbanded in 2018, he continued his career as a solo artist.
