    Lee Jin-wook, Shin Mina

    1. A new romance called Wed-Thu-Fri (roughly translated) is in the works, referring to the operating hours of our story’s restaurant and reportedly casting Lee Jin-wook (Beyond the Bar) to play the chef. With Shin Mina (Karma) also in talks to join the lineup, production has PD Jung Dong-yoon (Gyeongseong Creature, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay) attached to direct with scripts by Joo Hyun (A Couple’s World). [Newsen, Osen (1), (2)]
    1. On KBS, preparations have begun for the next, next weekender and Hani (Call It Love) is said to be reviewing an offer to become a banchan (side dish) shop owner in Love Is Coming (roughly translated) later this year. The family drama is currently in the early stages with PD Hong Seok-gu (Queen’s House, Beauty and Mr. Romantic) and notably writer Lee Kyung-hee (Chocolate) leading the team. [Newsen]
    2. In the meantime, promos continue for KBS’s upcoming Recipe for Love, amping up the family feud hijinks in the weekender’s newest video teaser. Premiering this month on January 31, the series stars Park Ki-woong (The Midnight Studio) and Jin Se-yeon (Bad Memory Eraser), as well as Yoo Ho-jung (Heard It Through the Grapevine), Kim Seung-soo (Delivery Man), Kim Hyung-mook (Bon Appetit Your Majesty), and So Yi-hyun (My Happy Ending). [Osen]

    1. SBS dropped a new poster of No Tail to Tell, drawing a magical connection between our wayward gumiho Kim Hye-yoon (Lovely Runner) and human Lomon (Family Matters). Directed by PD Kim Jung-kwon (Maestra – Strings of Truth, Love to Hate You) with Park Chan-young (The Best Chicken) and Jo Ah-young (The Best Chicken) co-writing, the fantasy romance will be broadcasting on weekends starting January 16. [Newsen]
    2. tvN has come out with a new teaser, putting Park Shin-hye (The Judge From Hell) on the trail of some fishy money as the titular heroine, Undercover Miss Hong. Also starring Go Kyung-pyo (Frankly Speaking), Ha Yoon-kyung (Gangnam B-Side), and Jo Han-gyeol (My Youth), the period comedy launches this week on January 17. [Newsen]
    3. Netflix delivered pretty in spades, bundling a big batch of stills for Can This Love Be Translated. Headlined by Kim Sun-ho (When Life Gives You Tangerines) and Go Yoon-jung (Resident Playbook), in addition to Fukushi Sota (Ai no Nai Koibitotachi), Lee Yi-dam (The Queen Who Crowns), and Choi Woo-sung (I Am a Running Mate), the 12-episode rom-com will be coming this week as well, beginning its tale on January 16.
