Jinyoung, Kim Min-joo
- JTBC has announced a new romance called Shining, turning Got7’s Jinyoung (Our Unwritten Seoul) into a subway train engineer and reuniting him with first love Kim Min-joo (Undercover High School), a traditional-style guest house manager. Coming to our screens in March, PD Kim Yoon-jin (Tell Me That You Love Me, Our Beloved Summer) is at the helm with writing by Lee Sook-yeon (A Piece of Your Mind). [Sports Donga]
- Ha Ji-won (Curtain Call) and Kim Min-kyu (A Soundtrack Like No Other) are reportedly reviewing offers for the new series Adultery Hunter (roughly translated). Aiming to start filming once casting has been finalized, production is said to be in discussions to air on tvN. PD Kim Seung-ho (Family by Choice, Joseon Attorney) is attached to direct with scripts by Hwang Bo-kyung. [News, Osen]
Ha Ji-won, Kim Min-kyu
- On Disney+, preparations are underway for Moving 2 and reports indicate that Roh Yoon-seo (The Frog) and Yeom Jung-ah (Love Take Two) are both in talks to join the stacked ensemble cast. With the original webtoonist Kangfull (Light Shop) once again penning the scripts, this time the team has PD Kim Sung-hoon (Kingdom) stepping in to direct the upcoming second season. - Speaking of webtoons, an adaptation of The World They Date In (roughly translated) is also in the works, tapping Shin Se-kyung (Captivating the King) to star in the rom-com, potentially becoming a brand designer. - tvN’s Siren’s Kiss has dropped their first poster, perching Park Min-young (Confidence) against our story’s stormy seas and drawing on the imagery of the dangerous sirens from Greek myths.
