A K-Pop idol personally announced his remarriage, shocking netizens as the news came five years after his divorce from his first wife.
On the 11th, wedding photos were shared on Instagram by Eli from U-KISS, announcing a new beginning.
He reflected, “The past five years have been some of the most challenging and transformative years of my life. They’ve been filled with ups and downs, difficult lessons, personal growth, and moments that forced me to see life from a different perspective.”
He continued, “Along the way, I was blessed to have met a wonderful woman who brought understanding, happiness, and peace into my life. Her patience and support have helped me navigate some of the hardest times and have made the good moments even more meaningful.”
Eli expressed his joy, saying, “I’m grateful to share that I have found the person I will be sharing the rest of my life with. I feel incredibly fortunate to begin this next chapter together and look forward to all that the future holds for us.”
He added, “I thank God for everything I’ve learned, for where His path has led me, and for the opportunity to start this next chapter with someone I truly love and respect.”

Eli debuted as a member of U-KISS in 2008. In 2014, he married Ji Yeon Soo, a racing model 11 years his senior, and they have one son together, but they divorced in 2020. The two later appeared on TV Chosun’s variety show We Got Divorced 2 in 2022, which attracted significant attention.
