A 2nd generation idol boldly revealed the reason why he secretly held his wedding with a non-celebrity without informing the public in advance.

On the 11th, original MBLAQ member Mir, along with his sisters Go Eun Ah and Bang Hyo Seon and their mother, appeared in a YouTube video to talk about his recent marriage.

Mir, who recently married a non-celebrity woman one year his senior, said when asked about their love story, “We met through a blind date,” adding, “I’ll share the full story of our relationship later.”

Afterward, Go Eun Ah read a question: “I’m curious why you didn’t announce your marriage. Most people usually tell others beforehand and receive congratulations, so I’m wondering what story there is behind keeping it a secret.” Mir retorted, “That’s not exactly what the question said,” criticizing Go Eun Ah for distorting the question. He then revealed, “We were cautious about making the (wedding) public since my spouse is a non-celebrity. Also, we had some trouble while preparing the wedding.”

Bang Hyo Seon said, “It started with reservations here and there…” Mir explained, “Things got complicated, and as the wedding day approached, we were unsure when to reveal it. Thankfully, thanks to this person (Go Eun Ah), we got sponsorships. She brought in all the sponsors.”

When asked, “When will the wedding video be uploaded? And are you living with your wife, Mir?” Mir answered, “We recorded a lot of footage, about 3TB. While exchanging the wedding videos, some issues arose that slowed down editing, so it’s taking longer to release. We’re working hard to make it look better.” Bang Hyo Seon urged, “Tell us if you live together,” to which Mir emphasized, “Yes, we’re living together and doing well.”

When asked if his wife knows the personalities of the family members, Mir said, “She knows very well. She’s similar in personality to us.” Bang Hyo Seon said, “She’s exactly like us. They’ve already blended in.” Go Eun Ah also stated, “She’s already part of the family.”

Regarding his wife’s reaction to his shaved head, Mir said, “She said it was cute. She thinks it suits me well.” Go Eun Ah jokingly reiterated, “She is part of the family, you know,” adding to the laughter.
