The group disbanded in 2016 but resurfaced in discussions after YouTuber Rachel Kwon began talking about her relationship with J.Heart, whom she married in 2022. It was previously revealed that the two met in 2014, a couple of months after she moved to Korea.
From that time until the group’s disbandment, the pair secretly dated, something Rachel spoke more in depth about in late January.
After the two began dating, Rachel realized the idea of being a “secret girlfriend” was more mentally taxing than expected. She revealed that after one of their outings, a fan tweeted J.Heart asking who he was with, which got him in trouble and made them more private.
In the next portion of her story, she spoke about more difficulties, including J.Heart traveling out of the country for work, and the real pressure of being a secret. She was not sure if his parents knew about her, something that also added stress.
Things obviously worked out between the now-married couple, but her perspective gives what may sound like a K-Drama fantasy a heavy dose of reality.
