The toggling of K-dramas between medical and legal themes keeps happening because when these dramas tend to have a higher chance of doing well. MBC is planning a new medical K-drama titled Mind Doctor, adapted from a webtoon. An offer is out to Kang Ha Neul for the male lead and if he accepts will be a great choice, plus I’m scratching my head and hope I’m not mistaken but in his dozens of roles drama and movies combined I don’t think he’s played a doctor before. Mind Doctor tells the story of a top surgeon who transfers to the psychiatry department after an incident in his career and pivots into the mental health field.
