KATSEYE members have finally spoken about Manon’s hiatus in their own words, and it’s only made fans more emotional.

Manon has been on a temporary hiatus from KATSEYE since February 2026, with the company stating she stepped back to focus on her health and well-being. Since then, she has missed major group activities, including new music releases and performances like Coachella.
While both the label and Manon have reassured fans that she’s doing okay, no timeline for her return has been given, leaving her status in the group uncertain.

During a recent Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe ahead of Coachella, the members were asked how they feel going into the performance. Sophia responded calmly, explaining that the group has been focused on working hard despite everything going on.
She then acknowledged Manon’s absence, saying the group loves her deeply and that she’s doing well.
You know Manon has been on hiatus, and we love her so much. We know that she’s been doing well. She got to talk to the fans about it, and we’re just really excited, and we’re rooting for all of us. At the end of the day, we all just want each other to win, and to be good, to feel good, and to be happy.

Lara followed up the leader’s words with her own short but emotional message.
We also want to say she’s our sister forever. We love her so much. We built this together, so we want to give her all the space.

While their words were reassuring on the surface, fans instantly focused on the girls’ body language. Many pointed to their facial expressions after Sophia mentioned Manon’s hiatus.
